Human Beans
Video, 2023
This project began as a series of drawings and mask studies—an experiment to break out of my routine and connect with the streets. This project pushed my practice into unexplored territories, turning techniques like spray painting, stenciling, and wheat pasting into an obsession that fueled my curiosity for street art. Street art, with its raw energy and accessibility, democratizes artistic expression. It transforms public spaces into platforms for creativity, activism, and resistance—giving voice to marginalized communities and challenging power structures. Looking back, Human Beans became more than just an artistic experiment; it created space for dialogue about diversity and visibility. This project led me beyond institutional confines, into abandoned spaces, small towns, and unexpected encounters—shaping my art and understanding of its purpose. It also became a gateway to new mediums, opening doors to digital animation and painting.
